Bed&Breakfast at Nellie's

Past few weeks were hectic..
completely exhausted, both mentally n physically
entertaining our frens who came to visit.
Bing and Euge checked outta our B&B at 7am on saturday morning
and 2hrs later, Emily and Justin checked in. lol.
Frens from Hongkong were great fun to be with..
luckily the enthusiastic tourists dashed off for some sight-seeing aft breakfast
me and Alberto caught up on our long-awaited sleep (&bubblebath hee..)

Saturday evening was a weirdly bizarre one.
we were waiting for the Emily & Justin, when this brit girl approached us
she was decked out in a white tube-sundress, in her big fashionistic sunnys,
asked if we'll like to go to an Opera, which was starting in 10mins' time.
What's the catch', i thot. So i shook my head, 'no'..
Ah, bt 'Nono it's free, its an English opera in the London Coliseum'
26pounds worth of opera tix for free..hmm..nonetheless we took it.
I know i was gonna doze off in the coliseum, bt heck..
could be a great experience who knows!
so off we went, our first (& of cos our last) time to catch an Opera.
As expected, the theatre was fulll of posh high-end British, all sipping expensive white wine
raving on abt how this Ariodante show must be good, in their high-strung english accent. Oh pls..
So the show apparently started (hmm didnt understand a single bit at the beginning, until Alberto realised they showed their script on the top of the stage)
Alberto's hayfever didnt get any better, n he was sneezing away, with his runny nose lol
and I was trying hard to stay awake.
the story wasnt too difficult to catch.
but we realised each character just repeated their every single sentence 20times
and that's how the opera lasted for more than 3 fuckin' hours?!
Obviously, this turned out to be quite an experience, we had to sneak off during the interval lol.
we probably will laugh abt it when we get old..

Anyhow, the past week has been spent bringing them ard London
not too much of it, since we had to work
but was nice to visit WIndsor finally,
Tom lives there, n everyone praises the lil town..
the flag was out in the castle, so Queen Liz was there!
ahhh.. i was sitting rite nxt to the castle, imagine me so near to the Queen! haa

Oh and Hannah's back in town
the lucky girl's been all over Asia aft her exchange in Hongkong
had a great lunch with her yest, she came over to my office
i realli miss having a good fren, n talking abt real stuff
heart-to-heart talks..
used to do that with Bing so much,
just a waste we cldnt do it when she was here.
I guess we realli dont make gd travelling partners,
but we'll always be good frens.
Ash, take care of urself too,
u know I'm always here.

Rite, off to pack my stuff for Prague n Berlin tmr!
ahh packing again
I feel like a nomad... i wanna go home..
