When will it snow??

Yes, according to the weather forecast,
they said it's gonna snow anytime soon,
well they said it would snow last Friday, and then Saturday,
Sunday went past, dry and bitterly cold,
and now, it's already Tuesday
where the hell is the snow??

I can't wait for it thou
it's too cold, but SNOW will make it worth it
so c'mon gimme some snow!!

It's winter and the Christmas atmosphere is looooming near
christmas lights, dinners, parties..
all around the corner
it is a lovely place to be in for Xmas - London
i wanna see for myself ;)
we'll be in Granada for Xmas thou
Alberto's mum wants us to go back there..hmm..
better polish up my Spanish
they'r coming to London this wkend..;O

Last wkend was crazy
im a FRIDAY person, if u know wat I mean
I would be coming in to work everyday, with that glum face,
and huge eye bags, and a loud voice screaming inside of me
'when will the wkend come?!!!!'
and VOILA! Friday comes sooooo quickly
n there I am again, chirpy and happy
Last Friday, we had a party in a pub called 'The Fat Controller'
ooo man wat a name!
some Managing Director in the Finance dpt was leaving
I havent even seen him before
but the Finance guys asked us along
so we dropped by with Jo, and Vimal
and it was all great fun
I got crazily drunk cos Vimal couldnt stop buying me drinks lol
We met alota colleagues we havent seen before
n it was great fun,
althou i probably dont remember a single name :P
Took loads of silly pictures,
bt still havent got internet connection at home ;(

Saturday was realli nice too
me and Alberto did some shopping for our new apt, its complete now
lotsa food, nice bed, tv bla bla..
we went Portobello in the afternoon,
it's the world's largest antique market,
they sell really cool stuff thou - interesting bohemian, hippy stuff
Joana, my new colleague, met us in the evening,
and brought us to an ICE SKATING RINK! OUTDOOR!
I wanted to go to one, exactly like the one in Rockefeller NewYork
full house thou, didnt get to try iceskating
had a longggggg walk along the Thames River,
saw how beautiful everything looked at nite
the Big Ben, the London Eye, Westminster Abbey..

im looking forward to seeing more stuff
there are still soo much more to see
this weekend.. cant wait :)

YABADEBADOOOOOOO!!

Had a great one last wkend ;)
Finally moved to our new apt,
settled down unpacked EVERYTHING outta our suitcases
and it was a disaster trying to get so much stuff from East London to West London..
we had to drag our barang barang up the tube, off the tube n up 4 levels to our apt
phhfff n mind u, Londoners don't give a damn
they just squeeze onto the tube , push n shove lk nobody's business
i felt like i was back home
lol.

It's realli nice,
i luv the cosy feeling,
& it's so new u can smell thinner in the air ;)
ive taken some pics,
but i havent got internet connection at home to upload them.
Alberto had to work on Sunday
for a presentation his boss had today,
so I did all the household stuff shopping yesterday
woo there was a nice market just near our place,
at Kilburn High street n there was so much cheap n good stuff
bought bedsheets, knife, saucepan etc.
now we have a complete home :)

Friday was yabadebadoooooooooooooooo
had a few drinks with my colleagues,
at the pub just nxt to our office again,
it looks like a good old English pub on the outside,
but modern n cosmo on the inside
had alotsa fun sharing tthots n dreams
u know me :P

Joined Alberto n his colleagues thereafter
and it was HILARIOUS.. i cldnt stop laughing
cos his colleagues were W-E-I-R-D, quirky, dorky etc
his boss is South African, n he has an Aussie colleague, and another South African
n it was an intl party with weird slangs waha
we had loads of free beer (hehe eyes lit up)
n it was loads of laughter ;D

Saturday we spent the entire day moving
n i thot that was enuff for me to sleep for 3 days 3nites in a row
but oh no no,
Alberto's fren from Spain wanted to meet us
n off we went, again
this time, it was realli nice n it was funny when we just met them
his fren Alvaro is living in London with his girlfren from France,
coincidentally, he met her during Student Exchange in San Diego
but what we didnt know..
was that the girl's Asian too ;P
me and Alberto looked at each other when we met them
it was like a double date -
2 spanish , n 2 Asians
how corny..

the girl's French thou, she grew up in France,
but her parents are from Korea.
weird thing is she doesnt speak a single word of Korean
and she doesnt like Korea food..
tell me abt it :P

we had realli good Indian food..yummy
tandoori chicken n nasi briyani
Indians probably make up like 30% of the London population
and so they have superb Indian restaurants everywhere
we were at Aldgate East, Brick Lane
and there was this whole street of clubs n restaurants
we dug our curious heads into this underground looking club
and we never saw anything more weird than that

Brits just don't know what music is.
haha like i know.
but they luv trance, n they dance like they'r on drugs.
with no rhythmn no beat (i know i dun dance too well either)
but as soon as we were there,
for like 5 minutes? (the time i took to use the toilet)
the dj stopped spinning
n the lights were turned on
VOILA! The club is closing..
at 1am?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wat the.....*at this moment, we turn to stare at each other*

so of course, we proceeded home
these brits..weird people haha.
i wonder how long im gonna take to know them :P

TGIF!!!

Ok so it's not Friday yet,
but tmr its gonna be friday!! YEHHHHHHHHHHH!!
The wkend's here n we'r moving!
and we'r gonna hang out with our fren from spain
and maybe some of alberto's new frens here

it was soo cold on the way home
last week, it was like alfresco airconditioning
but today, it felt like i was in an open-air freezer
damn i hate the cold!
all i wanna do is stay under the duvet
and snuggle with alberto ;(

i just picked up the keys for our new apt
in West Hampstead
everyone says it's one of the nicest areas in London
expensive apts and nice area
our rent is pretty reasonable
saw our new neighbours,
n i almost forgot how nice our new apt looks! ;)
they just added a tv n some dried flowers on the table
i cant wait!!!

This wkend is gonna be a great one, as always ;)

Winter's comin!

Ohhh yeh.. winter seems to be round the corner
it's getting reeal chilly these days
gotta get some thick warm coats..

Work has been rather fine,
much simpler stuff than I used to do
colleagues are nice, and frenly
but people in UK seem too proper haha
they joke around, but they'r just so gentlemenly if u get wat i mean
no crude jokes, or stupid pranks
like how Eugene and Hendra always do
i miss those guys
it was real fun working with them :P

Today a new girl joined the team
She's German, half Colombian, so she speaks Spanish
it was realli nice talking to her,
we had alota talk abt, n she asked me to join her frens over the wkend
yay i have frens! ;)

ooh! n i met Paul in the tube today!
my sis's ex-boyfren..such a small world!
he's still the same, talks the same old i-know-it-all tone haha
but he seems much more toned-down
and that's good for him
seems to having a good life now, n happy

waiting for Alberto to come home from work
and then i'll cook some pasta with cream sauce,
and some salmon! yay!
the supermkts are pretty cheap
so we buy lotsa stuff to cook at home
i like this independent life now
cooking at home,
looking for apartments ourselves,
washing our own laundry, althou i almost destroyed my fav shirt!

but of cos I still miss home
especially going for suppers with my family
and watching tv in my comfy home
and the swimming pool!

for now, Im really happy here
enjoying my new found life
we'r moving into our new apt this wkend ;)
gonna get the keys tmr yayy
my colleagues all said West Hampstead is a very nice area
n we'r lucky to get sth there for a cheap price

Ah..my direct manager's Hazel, the one in the middle..she IS something man haha she's very nice to me, n im thankful for that ;) that's Mark and Tom, and Tom sits beside me in the office, so he's frenlier to me 

Ash and Vimal, it was Ash's last day on Friday..they'r pretty funny guys especially Vimal 

Friday nite! drinking with my colleagues at a pub! it was nice, n fun.. nice to get to know them n stuff..they bought me so much drinks hehehe
