VALENTINES DAY SPECIAL

On Valentines Day itself, we went for
a San Valentin's meal in GINOS
italian restaurant
the food was quite a disappointment
thou i still happily enjoyed the meal in bliss
we had my all-time love, Lambrusco
the sweet italian wine
I was oddly surprised, n disappointed
there was no sight of roses, balloons in a romantic restaurant as such
Spanish pple dont celebrate Valentines!

VALENTINES WKEND
HOTEL RICE @ BURGOS!

We slipped off for a romantic wkend getaway
ahhh it was incredibly nice to just relax
do nothing, chill and rejuvenate...
Burgos turned out to be such a beautiful, quaint lil city

exquisitely brought out the european flavour



Been a while since we stayed in a nice hotel
soo woohoo~ i just wanted to awwwwwe
n smell that fresh laundry fragrant
check out where we bubble-bathed all day ;)

First thing first, drink up!
we brought a bottle of wine
at 3pm, I was drunk...
nothing beats that feeling ahhhh...



having Chinese lunch
partly to celebrate Chinese NewYr
it was just absolutely near the hotel
n i had the great time eating, while feelin high~




FINALLY THE SPA!
We headed to the SPA, part of the San Valentins package
it turned out to be a young,trendy place
we did the 'thermal circuit'
n it was soo effective n relaxing
with state-of-the-art hydro-electric pool

Sunday morning
we headed for the viewing point of Burgos

the awesome view was blocked by a big wooden shelf thou
how silly..

CARNAVAL!
It was the carnival wkend all round the world
Spain celebrates it by partying all night long
we managed to catch a glimpse of
theBurgos way of celebrating this worldwide festival


people disguised in traditional or weird costumes

singing out loud songs with silly/funny lyrics

we brought Miho to Granada on our roadtrip
woohoo~
of cos Granada was more beautiful than Madrid
first stop:

breathetaking view of the city...

we went to the Jap tapas bar with our 2 Jap frens!
woo~ so fun listening to them in Japanese!

Miho n I were eatting good food all day long
us in Atocha bus terminal

lol it truely was a gastronomic trip
we had all the authentic Spanish food
woo~ we went for lunch at a restaurant,
had the menu-del-dia as usual,
n they gave me a whole bottle of wine, just for myself!
phhh i went drunk to work after...hah!
