Full circle

The world never stops spinning
after walking miles and miles of distance,
and crossing miles and miles of obstacles..
who would think that you would come full circle.
It always amazes me when I find this old fren that ive lost touch with,
or meet people that I've missed for years
or just find a shirt that's been buried in my wardrobe for ages..

Ah..had a great weekend - i feel like im living only for wkends
wkdays are always non-eventful,
kinda miss those days where we still hang out late into the nite aft work
go to work with a hangover
or just skip school aft a nite of partying
and just hanging out with frens over roti prata.
Everything seems so pre-arranged here
no impromptu chillin'
no casual forget-about-the-money drinking

Anyhow, back to my weekend
we met Katie from chicago!! a fren I knew back in Miami
it was reeealli good seeing her again,
it was like getting back a frenship that laid buried, or not unearthed until now.
might be a lil exaggerating there bt im just happy ;)
Alberto had a good time too, boasting abt his lousy job lol.
we invited Katie over for a great lunch - Alberto grilled beef steaks,
I made roast croquettes, a lousy salad n pizza!
She's our first guest, and it felt like we shld do this more often.
We seemed to have stepped into another level of adulthood lol.

Went to Camden on a shopping spree!
Not me thou, and it wasnt intentional by any chance.
We just wanted to chill under the sun (u know it's difficult to catch sm sun in London)
and we just sat alfresco, and had some food at an Arizona bar.
Who knew Alberto wld see the love(s)-of-his-life - weird alternative stuff..
He bought a huge n heavy medieval chess set, that looked way cool
but also wayyy difficult for stupid pea-brained me .
And he finalli got his long-awaited BONG.
Ah, wat a word aint it? It works like a Sheesha,
put some weed on the opening of the funnel, blow thru the pipe, smoke gets distillated thru the water, and voila! u get HIGH~~~~ heh heh heh
we got pissed that Saturday nite, drinking our newfound Sapporo and smoking sm legal drugs!

It's been more or less a great week, or than the fact that I was soo pissed at work
stupid Hazel...I decided to stand up for myself
and stop being the stupid wuss who's oh-so-polite to her
I've started ignoring her n giving her the biggest attitude I can possibly put on heh..

Last nite was incredibly fun! ah rarely go out on a wkday nite
but we went to our fav new Bar again, Verve
me and the Asian dudes. we were there last friday on their pre-launch
hah, so many 'launches' how funny..
it was superb cos I was on the guest list and we had free drinks!! and food!!!
(do NOT call pple who surf the net for nitespots 'geeks' !)
it was a kinda-posh bar with beautiful pple etc, bt who cares?!
had great fun having chinese food with them too heh
who wld have known I wld be hanging out with so many Chinese here in London
i guess it's nt abt being chinese, I just like hanging out with them
they'r funny, down-to-earth pple that I like talking to
no fake pretences like at work
and no getting-drunk-all-time sessions, like I used to have with my audio collleagues!

This weekend's gonna be great too - BBQ on sat!
