OXFORD grooooovin'

Ah! had a great wkend over in Oxford~
Argh! but I bloody forgot my camera! f**king stupid
me and Alberto spent 1.5 hours on a bus journey to this cool city
didn't anticipate much, just wanted to visit Stefiney
Stefiney used to be a tuition kid of mine
and is now studying in St Claire's College, in Oxford

Was great fun seeing her again
and catchin up, really knowing about how her life is now
I spent more time talkin to her than catchin the sights n sounds around the city
Oxford is a cool place - historical, beautiful and yet modernization at it's best
like how everyone says England is not only about London,
I really wish to see it for myself now ;)

It's not a big city, but upon arrival along the High St,
you see huge historical buildings of colleges, and of cos the grand Oxford University
they stretched for miles, with grey intricate carvings on the buildings,
and a clocktower to oversee the lil city.
Was a sunny Saturday and me and Alberto tripped off to have some nice pastries in a market
then we jumped on the Oxford story ride,
that took us around the timeline, where we learnt abt the great impact this university city had on the world, and history..
oh we met up with Stefiney and toured around Christ Church
it was there, that Harry Potter was filmed
the green grass infronta the cathedral, the dining hall..
we then popped by Stef's dorm
and I'm really glad for her, a nice learning environment she has there
we took a tour around her college as well
and met her fren from Mongolia, who studied in Spore for 2 yrs
she told us how different it is to study here n in Singapore
- wayyy too stressful back at home..

Anyway, Saturday nite was one of the best ones we've had thus far
had a great dinner in a local pub in Oxford
talked alot, learnt alot about studying here etc..
Stefiney's my only young fren lol, she's matured n sensible despite growing up fr a rich family
I find myself behaving like a kid when I'm with her..
anyhow, it was her fren's birthday
and the rich kids booked a VIP area in a club
we went along to witness the kids party haha was great fun!!
me and Alberto had sooooo much energy surprisingly
and danced for hrs - woa *jaw drop*
the club played realli good hiphop
it was exactly like those days back in Miami
me and alberto just loved hiphop and we danced n drank like crazy ;)
it's always one of those best times that i forget my camera - how stuuuupid

We ended the nite having to drag ourselves up the bus
and sleeping the 1.5hrs thru until we reached London
ah but realli enjoyed it, and we sure will go back there again!

Work always seems to bring us back to reality, doesn't it? Argh
Monday comes and my life seems to take that automatic downturn
only laughing at Tom at work makes my life a lil brighter haha
nah its been not too bad in the office..
I've realised I never talk abt work here at all,
nor my feelings... in my old blog I used to talk abt my inner most thots,
sadness or weird thots..
but ever since I've been here,
I'm realli contented with life, happy, enjoying myself
undoubtedly no sadness no loneliness to lament abt ;)

I've been doing well at work,
Hazel's been treating me reeealli well lately ever since I've converted to perm
in fact all of them have shown their appreciation for me in one way or another
somehow they make me feel real important to the company *twitched mouth lol*
honestly!
did I forget to tell everyone (or rather 'announce to the world')
what Hazel told me when she wanted me to work her permanently???
here's the quote - 'Nellie, you've done one helluva great job for me, n I realli hope you can stay'
Wah! *tears in my eyes*

I realised I'm improved alot,
maybe working with a strict n ferocious boss does actualli maximise my potentials lol.
Althou this is not exactly the most prestigious job in the world,
Im realli thankful for it, and glad Im doing a good job
For now, it's the 22 days of annual leave that make my eyes BLINKBLINK heh heh heh..
Have got too much planned for summer!

Oh!! and on Friday nite,
was supposed to meet Jeremy, but things cropped up
so me and Alberto popped down to the local pub
talked n laughed n then bobbed our heads to the music
THEN
I heard the ever-so-familiar 'Wake me up when September ends..'
Ahhh! I couldnt help but think of those head-banging days in Rouge
sighhh so much for being a Kreuger groupie! I miss everyone..
those days drinking, rocking to the loud music, and partying were SO SO SO much fun
i told Alberto i HAFTA get home soon to relive that feeling again
