Chinese NewYear in surprisingly sunny London

For the first time in my life,
I miss the festive feelin of Chinese New Yr..
wonder what sparked that feelin in me
but I wished I could join my family in steamboat-marathon
and frens in lao-hei..

It was a surprisingly good one thou
had a GREAT wkend
Alberto's fren Jose, and his sister Julia came with her boyfren
they stayed over at our place
n it was like a holiday wkend overseas
visited lotsa interesting places in London (again, but still felt like our first visit)

WOAHO
It's an incredible experience celebrating Chinese New Yr here
we went to Trafalgar Square where the parade started,
it went on all the way to Chinatown..where they had fireworks, and fire crackers even!
was pleasantly surprised to see more westerners than Chinese
expected to see a sea of Chinese,
but turns out Londoners are interested in Chinese culture aft all.
Amazingly, it was soo sunny over the wkend
I realised how much I miss the sun,
and how much warmth and happiness it brings me.

The highlight of the wkend was probably
visitng the Greenwich Meridian spot..
the line where the world starts spinning..the zero longitude..
it was reeeeall cool climbing up to the hill,
and witnessing the stunning view of London.
it wasn't our first time to Greenwich,
but probably the best, an image that I would keep in my mind for a while.

Another week to our Amsterdam trip!
probably chill this wkend, to save up on our trip ;)

Happy Chinese New Year
this year, is gonna be a great one.
