Amsterdam - Brings you to Heaven and back ;)

Marijuana, Spacecake, Mushroom...
oooh yeh... really brings you to heaven and back
had a f**king fantastic time in Amsterdam!
Chilled in the coffeeshops all nite,
and got mind-blowingly high~
It just amazes me, a country where drugs are legal
instead of hanging out with a drink or two,
people are talking, with weed and rolling paper in hand
a city with such liberalization, Im sure that tops it up as a stunning city ;)
o well, it was hohoho fun in Amsterdam
althou we didnt visit the Museums n stuff..(yeh we'r not cultured, so wat)
we saw loads, and met up with my dutch frens too - Faruk and Rahmat
Real nice seeing them again,
except that this time they were in their turf - n showing us around
had some cool traditional dutch food - Poffertjes, Harring (yucks)
the Dutch ain't got too much of their own food, unfortunately
we had quite a good insight to that.. the Haring almost made me throw up. :P

Highlight of the trip must have been a visit to a fishing village outside Amsterdam
Volendam was a cooool lil town -
somewhat reminds me of Fishermen's Wharf in SanFran
lotsa seafood..traditional dutch costumes...lil cafes by the sea..
very nice indeed..until the rain came down on us
and it became snow..
the weather kinda ruined the trip..
we were suppose to go to another village thereafter bt cldn't
nonetheless, we went back to Amsterdam
and went trippppin' off in cosy Coffeeshops..
o yeh, i got f**king pissed the first nite we arrived LOL
it was hilarious cos both of us -empty-stomached
decided to dive into some weed and spacecake
apparently the 0.2gm of marijuana in the spacecake takes AGES to take effect
so i sulked in the coffeeshop as
Alberto's eyes watered and stoned, huffing n puffing his joint
An hr later, as we were drowning our livers with Original dutch beer
(wat else but Heineken)
my head didnt sway, oh no, its nooo way like drinking,
but spasms of numbness, and euphoria thundered through my brain
i could literally feel it flowing thru my bloodstream
and it came in shots, one after the other
n it didnt stop..o no...back in our room
i began talking to an imaginary Alberto..as he had exclaimed
I was hearing voices, and talking to myself
and everything in my head was loud, thundering, and spinning..
coool - a weird feeling, considering that this sorta euphoria comes aft eating a £5 spacecake.

Strange, Quirky Amsterdam
I just love its Bohemian, hippy atmosphere.
Live life as it should be.
